Game nights

Through out the month of May and June, we hosted several more games nights. Turn out was low because the semester was ending and students summer schedule was changing. In spite of this, those who came enjoyed putting a puzzle together and playing various board games.

End of year cookout

errorAt the end of every year, BCM hosts a large celebration. This year the goal was to have a bonfire, but the weather did not cooperate. Instead, we started up the fireplace and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows inside. Fifteen students came and enjoyed the time of relaxation.

David turns six months

On June 38, David will be six months old. It has been amazing to see him grow from 2lbs 12oz to nearly 12 pounds. Frequently, he strings together long coos and smiles at folks he meets. He also has started to rice cereal. Melody and I feel very blessed to have such a healthy son. It has been tough, yet rewarding six months. Please continue to pray as David grows and we raise him up.

More pictures of David are avalible here.

Memorial Day picnic

This year BCM teamed up with the Warehouse to host a Memorial Day picnic at a local park. A crowd of 30 people filtered through the day. After lunch, ten of us, including me, played short game of soccer. It was a great time of fun, games, and food.

Summer rest

With three months of summer, comes a time to rest, recover, and prepare for a new year. So far this summer, I have enjoyed being able to sleep and catch up on my reading.

In the coming week, I will start preparing for various fall studies and events. I am looking forward to all that will occur. With three students interested in leadership, the possibility of an on campus worship service, and my brother becoming an Assistant Director, there will be a lot of things going on. Please be in prayer of the various opportunities we will have to reach out to our community.
